Regular Food Hacks
Stolen from Alex Hormozi
Keep these in the house so the right choice is an easy choice.
When I’m on the wagon and not being a hypocrite — doing the 80% of things that keep my overall health under control — these are the staples I’m rotating through.
Between these foods and the periodic “healthy-adjacent” takeout splurges, I’m able to stay sane while getting through a busy day to day. Diets fail when the healthier options require a 12-step recipe and the fatty liver with a side of fries option is a drive-through away. The move is to make the high-protein thing the thing you can grab while you are tired and hangry.
This is not a meal plan. It is a fridge that does not fight you. Hitting the × 10 rule is the ideal. Close still counts.
If a sweet tooth shows up: a Legendary pastry with fat-free Reddi-wip takes the cake… literally and figuratively. Like it’s really, really good.
And then I stole the grocery-aisle recipes from the same jacked business YouTuber as Where to Start. Zero prep. High protein. His versions often land around 80–100 g of protein in one sitting — scale them to your number. The macros below are from the video plus typical labels. Brands move. If the numbers are on the package, trust those.

- Stolen from Alex Hormozi’s cookbook video. I did not invent these. I am the middleman.
- His plates are often a full meal at 80–100 g of protein. Cut everything in half if that is more than you need in one sitting.
- Calories, protein, carbs, and fat are rounded from the video plus typical labels. Brands reformulate. If the package disagrees, the package wins.
